At SNGS Infocomm Media Club, technology meets creativity and innovation comes alive. More than just learning about computing and technology, the club offers students an exciting platform to explore the ever-evolving world of digital technology, media production and communication design. Members are immersed in authentic hands-on experiences ranging from coding and digital content creation to photography, videography, public announcement systems and multimedia storytelling. Through specially curated workshops, real-world projects, and national competitions, students are equipped with future-ready technical competencies in areas such as computational thinking, media editing, graphic design, and digital production. Whether it is programming solutions, producing impactful videos, designing visual content or managing audio-visual systems, every member develops confidence in using technology as a powerful tool for creation and problem-solving. What makes SNGS Infocomm Media Club especially dynamic is its strong spirit of service and ownership within the school community. Members play an integral role behind the scenes of many key school events, capturing memorable moments through photography and videography, supporting assemblies and programmes through professional PA operations, and producing digital media that communicates the vibrant life of SNGS. Beyond technical expertise, the club nurtures creativity, teamwork, adaptability, and leadership. Students learn to think on their feet, collaborate effectively and contribute meaningfully while working in fast-paced event settings and project-based environments. In Infocomm Media Club, members do not simply consume technology, they learn to create with it, lead through it and make an impact with it. |

Photography and Videography All Infocomm Media Club members undergo foundational training in photography and videography, equipping them with essential technical skills in camera handling, framing, lighting and visual capture. Beyond mastering equipment, members are guided to view every shot through the lens of storytelling. Regular photo review and critique sessions form an important part of this developmental journey. Through guided sharing, professional feedback and collaborative discussions, members sharpen their eye for composition, timing, perspective and visual impact. These sessions cultivate a deeper artistic awareness of how meaningful moments can be transformed into compelling visual stories. |

Coding
Across their four years in the club, students are exposed to a wide range of coding platforms, applications and specialised courses that strengthen both technical fluency and innovation. Through these experiences, students do not merely learn to code, they learn to think like creators, engineers and solution designers in an increasingly digital world. |

Learning Journeys Infocomm Media Club members are regularly given opportunities to participate in specially curated learning journeys across Singapore, allowing them to extend their learning beyond the classroom and experience technology in authentic real-world settings. These experiential sessions provide members with deeper insights into emerging digital innovations, media applications and evolving technological trends shaping today’s society. One such example is the immersive visit to HeadRock VR at Sentosa, where members explored the exciting possibilities of virtual reality and interactive digital experiences firsthand. Through such technology-rich encounters, students gain a broader appreciation of how Infocomm solutions are transforming industries and user experiences in the modern world. Beyond technical exposure, these shared journeys also strengthen camaraderie within the club. As members learn, explore and problem-solve together in new environments, they forge stronger friendships, build teamwork, and grow as a closely connected Infocomm family. |

Projects
These project experiences allow members to apply technical knowledge in meaningful real-world contexts while sharpening essential 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, creative problem-solving, collaboration and adaptability. |
